Inked woodworking gets a much needed update

We've all heard the cliché saying, "New Year, New You"!!!  At Inked Woodworking, we wanted to think about what exactly that meant to the company.  After looking at our ETSY page versus our business webpage, it was illuminating at just how much potential lay dormant within the outdated format.  The journey to edit and provide a cleaner user experience commenced, and the results are what you are reading as we speak!

If there is one thing that I do know how to do, that is design and build high quality woodworking wares for you and your families!  Unfortunately, there isn't a place in my resume for website construction and design.  I wear many hats (mainly to cover my dreamy hair), but I haven't yet found the one to compliment this skillset.  So, I began using the old google, as the kids would say.  I landed on so many designers, companies, and independent contractors.  So many, that I was a deer in headlights.  This wasn't going to work.  Then, I stumbled on this awesome website upwork, that specializes in providing a platform for talented artists from around the world to help with everything and anything from website design to accounting.  I made a profile, posted what I was looking for, and then let the process begin!

It didn't take long to discover a vast sea of talented individuals from around the world, and upwork provided the resources to screen them all.  They offered their resumes, accomplishments, examples, and even a way to contact them via messaging/video interviews.  This site is legit, and I embraced the process of finding exactly the right person for the job!

That's when I met Susan.  She was/is crushing it on upwork, and her portfolio caught my eye immediately as someone that I wanted to learn more about.  Being the amateur that I am, I sent a list of questions over to her to get the ball rolling.  She responded immediately, thoroughly, and even had a vision for the project.  I knew right then and there that she was going to deliver a user experience that the loyal Inked Woodworking community would be proud of!  As you can see, the entire site has been updated to include so many new features.  We now offer: clean, robust homepage, a new BLOG page, updated policies, EXACT real-time pricing for the customer (Inked Woodworking charges $0 extra for shipping), a new contact button, updated and useful emails, and much more!  Her work speaks for itself, and I cannot wait to see the evolution of Inked Woodworking as we push forward in 2024!

I'm so proud of what I see, and I hope that all of you are proud of how the new site turned out!  Feel free to browse the products that we have to offer, and as always, send me questions or ideas for projects that you want built!  I am up for any challenge, and I strive to ensure that each project is created with all of my heart and soul.  I believe in that NO buyer should ever have remorse over their purchase, and I can guarantee that you will absolutely love whatever you purchase from the site!
